Before you start
You need an Evatype account administrator role and a Webflow API token with access to the site and CMS collections you want to use.
To create the required token in Webflow:
- Open Site Settings.
- Open Apps & Integrations.
- Under API Access, generate an API token.
- Copy the token.
Connect Webflow
- Open your Evatype account settings and select Integrations.
- Select Connect for Webflow.
- Paste the Webflow API token.
- Select Connect Webflow.
Evatype checks the token before saving the integration. If the check fails, confirm the token and its site access, then try again.
Use Webflow as a workflow source
In the workflow Source step:
- Choose Webflow CMS.
- Select a site and collection.
- Choose how source items should be processed.
- Save the source.
Evatype caches the selected source items for workflow use. Refresh the configuration if the Webflow collection changes.
Use Webflow as a destination
In the workflow Destination step:
- Choose Webflow Collection.
- Select the site and collection.
- Map every required generated output field to its Webflow field.
- Add any constant or source-reference fields required by the collection.
- Save the destination and test the workflow preview.
Use Refresh from Webflow if fields were added or changed after you opened the workflow.
Publish an item
- Open Review.
- Select a completed item.
- Check its generated fields.
Choose when to publish the item:
- To write it to the configured Webflow collection now, select Publish.
- To send it later, select Schedule publish.
If Publish is unavailable, check that generation completed, the destination is still configured, and required Webflow fields are mapped. A changed or removed Webflow field can require a mapping update.
Disconnect Webflow
Account administrators can remove the integration from Integrations. Workflows that depend on that connection cannot read from or publish to Webflow until an active integration is available again.
