Review and publish

Inspect generated content, make changes, and publish now or at a scheduled time.

Find a generated item

  1. Open Review.
  2. Use Generating to check items that are still being processed.
  3. Use In review to find completed items that have not been marked as published.
  4. Select an item to open its detail panel.

The panel can show a formatted preview, generated fields, Markdown, or JSON. The available views and downloads depend on the workflow.

Check the content

Review the title, body, supporting fields, links, and images. Also confirm that the destination mapping is correct for fields required by the external system.

For full run controls, open the workflow and select its run. The run page supports editing or regenerating individual fields, regenerating an item, and downloading run output. Regeneration replaces the affected generated content, so review it again afterward.

Publish now

If the item has generated data and a writable destination, select Publish. Evatype writes the current item to its configured destination and records the result.

Publish is unavailable when the workflow only creates downloadable CSV or Markdown files, when generation is incomplete, or when the destination cannot accept the item.

Schedule publication

  1. Select Schedule publish.
  2. Choose a future date and time. The form uses your browser's time zone.
  3. Select Schedule.

The item shows its scheduled time in the review panel. To reschedule it, select Change. To clear the schedule, select Remove. Manual publishing is disabled while an active schedule exists.

If scheduled publication fails, the item remains available for review and shows the failed schedule state. Correct the destination or content issue, then set a new schedule or publish manually.

Archive an item

Select Archive to remove an item from the default review list. Archiving an item with an active schedule also removes that schedule. Archived items can be restored.

What happens next

Published items appear under the Published tab. Confirm the finished item in the destination as the final check.
